THEY’RE ALL DOOMED.

(BUT YOU CAN BE THE LAST ONE STANDING.)

Recreate the Golden Age of Slasher Films in this Narrative-Heavy, Card-Based Tabletop Experience.

You know the tropes. The car won’t start. The basement light is out. Someone decided to go investigate that "weird noise" in the woods alone. In most games, these are mistakes. In Dead Teenager RPG, they are the rules of survival.

Created by Robert Nolan and Creepy Doll Studios, Dead Teenager RPG is a storytelling game designed to replicate the tension, gore, and dark humor of classic slasher films. Whether you're a group of amoral teens at a summer camp or space marines facing an alien organism, the goal is simple: Try to survive until the end credits roll.

WHY PLAY DEAD TEENAGER RPG?

🩸 Put Down the Dice, Pick Up the Decks

DTRPG ditches complex math for a high-tension, card-based system. Using two standard decks of cards—the Director Deck and the Terror Deck—the game creates a "mini-cliffhanger" atmosphere where every flip could be your last.

🩸 The "Save vs. Stupid" Mechanic

Why do victims in horror movies do such dumb things? Because they are burdened by the 4 C’s:

  • Curiosity: Why is that chainsaw revving at 3 AM?.
  • Cowardice: The reason you scream when the cat jumps out of the closet.
  • Calamitous: That pesky reason you trip while running away.
  • Compulsion: That one thing—be it sex, booze, or ego—that you just can’t resist.

🩸 Everyone Gets to be the "Director"

In DTRPG, the role of the Director rotates. One minute you’re playing a "Lovable Stoner" trying to find a snack, and the next, you’re the one narrating the ominous shadow moving behind your friends.

🩸 High Body Count, High Fun

Victims drop like flies. You’ll start the game with multiple characters, and as they meet their horrific (and often hilarious) ends, you’ll use their "corpses" as new elements to trigger the cowardice of the survivors.

HOW THE MOVIE PLAYS OUT

The game follows a classic Three-Act Structure:

  1. ACT I: The Setup. Build your victims, establish relationships, and plant "Elements" (like that rusty axe by the woodpile) that will inevitably come back to haunt you.
  2. ACT II: The Terror. This is where the killing starts. Sucumb to your flaws and enter The Terror, a heart-pounding sequence where you draw from the deck to see if the killer catches you.
  3. ACT III: The Finale. The remaining survivors stop running and take the fight to the killer. Formulate a plan, gather your weapons, and pray for a sequel.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR NIGHTMARE

  • Ratings System: Built-in tools to set the "MPAA Rating" of your game, ensuring everyone is comfortable with the level of gore, language, and intensity.
  • Unlimited Locations: From abandoned hospitals and summer camps to spacecraft and military bases.
  • Laugh in the Face of Death: Feeling brave? Risk it all in a solo "stupid" act for a chance to earn Dumb Luck Points—the only thing standing between you and a machete.

ARE YOU READY TO BE THE FINAL GIRL?

Grab two decks of cards, some friends, and a box of "Dumb Luck" tokens. The killer is already on the property.
